Acting together to reduce world poverty.

Uniterra provides opportunities for volunteers, organizations, businesses and students to be actively involved in achieving the Millennium Development Goals, in Canada and 13 countries of the Global South. Citizens around the world joined the UN Millennium Development Goals campaign to call upon government to play their role in putting an end to poverty, offering more and better aid, adopting fair trade practices, and canceling the debts of the poorest countries. In 2004, CECI and WUSC joined forces and created Uniterra, to play a leadership role in mobilizing Canadians for international cooperation.
