Uniterra is looking to build social capital, and provide Canadian citizens and citizens in developing countries with a vision to which they can adhere. This first professional seminar on the topic of the social solidarity economy is the steward of this vision.

Founded in 1991 by the Rockefeller Foundation, LEAD International is training a new generation of professionals in mid-career to lead the principles of sustainable development. LEAD-Canada is now working with Uniterra to promote the Millennium Development Goals in the country and is developing projects with fellows from LEAD-Africa.
