Roch Harvey, UniterraUniterra is looking to build social capital, and provide Canadian citizens and citizens in developing countries with a vision to which they can adhere. This first professional seminar on the topic of the social solidarity economy is the steward of this vision.
On the Road Towards Solidarity Partnerships
The goal of this partnership is not only to learn about the different ways of functioning, but more specifically to discuss the pedagogy developed in Quebec day care centres (CPE) and on the integration of culture in day care centres in Senegal.
Uniterra: Maintaining Ties Among Organizations

Uniterra intervenes on two levels: economic and social. The economic level includes agriculture and rural development, the development of private companies and employment. The social level deals with education, health and the battle against HIV/AIDS.

Making Connections-Leveraging Strength
Denise Proulx, LEAD Canada, Chealsea, QuébecFounded in 1991 by the Rockefeller Foundation, LEAD International is training a new generation of professionals in mid-career to lead the principles of sustainable development. LEAD-Canada is now working with Uniterra to promote the Millennium Development Goals in the country and is developing projects with fellows from LEAD-Africa.
