Our Programme

Uniterra is an international cooperation programme of CECI and WUSC, mobilizing partners, volunteers, and the Canadian public to reduce world poverty by 50%, by 2015.

Cooperate
We foster partnerships between organisations and networks in Canada and in the South. Through volunteer cooperation, we support the mobilization of communities so that they may actively participate in development.

Educate
We mobilise youth on campus and colleges towards reaching the MDGs through education, advocacy, and volunteering.

Advocate
In Canada, we mobilize the Canadian population in favour of international cooperation and the attaining of the Millennium Development Goals

In Canada and in 13 countries of the South  
Uniterra's partners and volunteers are presently engaged in projects on three continents in the following six sectors:

• HIV/AIDS
• Basic Education
• Health and Nutrition
• Private Sector Development
• Youth Programming

We contribute to the reduction of poverty in the world and the fulfilment of the UN 's Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
