November 12-23 – As part of JQSI (Journées québécoises de la solidarité internationale), an initiative of the Association of international solidarity in Québec (AQOCI), international cooperation organizations are mobilizing to mount a series of activities on the theme of Food Sovereignty! Opening conference
The programming kicked-off with a conference with the French activist José Bové, Miriam Nobre from the March of Women in Brasil, and André D. Beaudoin of the Agricultural Producers Union in International Development (UPA DI). The room was full of people who appreciated and participated actively in the discussion that followed the conference.

A panel discussion titled "A World Without Hunger Thanks to the Farmer's Movements: The experience of 3 Uniterra volunteers in Burkina Faso, Mali and Senegal" was held November 15th, at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM.
