Botswana is highly affected by HIV/AIDS. Consequently, Uniterra's partners seek to act on several levels: 1) prevention, treatment, care and support for persons with HIV/AIDS; and 2) coordination and management of the national response. |

FIGHT HIV/AIDS, MALARIA AND OTHER DISEASES
HIV/AIDS is the number four cause of mortality in the world. HIV/AIDS affects a major proportion of the population in many of the countries where Uniterra's partners work. In Botswana, Burkina Faso and Malawi, we hope to expand the health services available to persons with HIV/AIDS and their families. In addition, informing and sensitizing local populations is a major component of all community health projects.
