International Seminar in Botswana

In the summer of 2006, twenty post-secondary students from various regions across Canada and twenty students of the University of Botswana accompagnied by four academic advisors will take part in the International Seminar in Botswana. Through this six week intercultural exchange, you will be exposed to the many realities of life in a rural community and familiarize yourself with international cooperation.  As a participant, you would also contribute to a local development initiative through a short internship with a local organization and undertake a multi-disciplinary group research project on the theme of HIV/AIDS.
